"This might just be the world's first truly ethical offseting scheme."
John Grant, Author of The Green Marketing ManifestoEver wanted to learn how to compost like karate kid?
The doom and gloom around climate change can get tiresome. We were delighted when we came across Nice & Serious, an ethical film company dedicated to making fun green films that inspire people to make serious change.
They've done some great films for the Science Museum, UK Aware, Powerday and others. Our favourites are the professor planet series for Sky and Global Action Plan (under Education & Awareness at the link below) - in fact, Jane was so enthused by the Master Composter, she spent most of the afternoon making karate chop noises whenever she put something in the bin.
We also like the DECC/IpsosMori video because the number of times Ed Miliband says conversation in one minute makes us giggle.
Nice & Serious are also genuine in their commitment to make films in a sustainable way. They do all the good stuff - buying from ethical suppliers, traveling by public transport and minimising the amount of waste they produce. Then, having reducing their emissions as far as possible, they retire a tonne of carbon for every film they make. And they make great sandwiches. What's not to like?
So grab yourself a cuppa, crack open the jaffa cakes and settle down to watch some creative green magic from our favourite new client.
